Her designs explore the potential of landform manipulation and plant material, using these tools to create landscapes that are responsive and sustainable while far exceeding programmatic expectations.

While working as a senior landscape designer at Michael Van Valkenburgh, Inc., Nicole contributed to a wide range of projects with challenging environmental and physical constraints, employing her artful skills in hand drawing, digital graphics, and physical model-making.

Nicole's happiest spare moments are spent creating objects of craft, making food with friends, and swimming in freshwater lakes and rivers.
